Strix Unreal SDK allows you to easily deploy your online gameusing Unreal engine blueprint’s intuitive interface.

Strix offers a powerful toolkit for developing online games using Unreal engine. Set up any necessary synchronization process in your online game just using Unreal engine blueprints. Synchronize any in-game actor with a blink of an eye (Add a multiplayer to your game using Strix Unreal SDK and blueprint visual scripting.

Can be done with Blueprint only

All Unreal SDK functions can be set up in blueprints for easy development.

Intuitive handling

Server connection, matchmaking, actor synchronization can be done intuitively in blueprints.

Easy development

With help of Strix SDK components you can fully concentrate on a client side development without having to code complex server logic.

Replica

Actors can be easily synchronized only by adding StrixReplicator component to their blueprints. Strix Cloud make a replica of that object and makes it appear on everyone’s screen. Depending on which component you add, you can synchronize object’s position, animation, physical movement etc.  All these synchronization processes can be set up in Unreal engine without writing any code.

RPC

There is also a feature to execute processes in different applications called RPC (remote procedure call). With Replica you can synchronize processes as well, but with help of RPC you can easily set up execution of communication processes in every user’s application.

Variable synchronization

There is also a feature that sends notifications when property of Replica is changed. For example you can set up notifications when item’s color changes, when entering a room, when room’s status changes, etc.

How to use Strix Unreal SDK

Step 1

Step 6

Add components to an actor

Create an actor and add synchronization components to actor’s blueprint. You can change component’s settings to match your online game.

Step 7

Can be done in blueprint

Room creation and room participation condition-based matchmaking, RPC(Remote procedure call) and many other features necessary for online game development can be implemented in blueprint.
