We have an important announcement that we would like to make.
We regret to inform you that we will be discontinuing the Strix Cloud Type 0, which has been available for use for a long time, on May 31^st, 2024.
Due to this, we would like to inform you that the Type 0 instances currently in use will no longer be available starting from June 1st.

Strix Cloud Type 0 instance discontinuation date: May 31^st, 2024
*We will provide specific information regarding the time of discontinuation at a later date.

If you are currently using or have registered an account for using a Type 0 instance and would like to continue using Strix Cloud after June 1^st, please follow the steps below:

1. Switch to a Type 1 or higher instance type.
   (You can only change the instance type without changing the application ID or master hostname. We will provide specific information on how change instance types at a later date.)
2. If you are a student and wish to continue using a Type 0 instance, you will need to present to us your student ID card.
   We will contact students regarding the specifics to this at a later date.

*Student definition: A person who is 10 years of age or older and is enrolled in a course of 3 months or more provided by one of the following:
1. Educational institutions stipulated by Japan’s School Education Act (elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, universities, technical colleges, special needs schools, vocational schools, various schools)
2. Universities run by the government where degrees can be obtained

In addition, with the discontinuation of Type 0 instances, we have decided to start a new initiative.
For corporate customers who wish to consider using Strix Cloud, we will provide a 3-month trial version if applied for in advance.
Additionally, we offer a one-year trial version to customers that are students.
Furthermore, if you are an educator who uses Strix Cloud for educational purposes such as within their classes, lectures, etc., please contact us prior to being the use of Strix Cloud so that we can consider allowing you the use of the trial version under the same conditions as students.

The method for applying in advance will be announced at a separate date.
